Dear Friend,

Do you want to make a big difference in students’ lives by getting phones out of their schools? Then register today for the upcoming week of advocacy from Fairplay and the Phone-Free Schools Movement!

Our Phone-Free Schools Advocacy Week will give you five full days and many different ways to get involved, including posting stats on social media, talking to your neighbors and speaking with your school district leaders. The week will take place March 24-28; all you have to do for now is sign up to get our free resources and daily action alerts (and share this invitation with your family and friends!).

Friend, a whopping 97% of students — in other words, nearly all of them — use phones in school, and it’s undermining their education, their relationships and their mental health. But the good news is that since Fairplay and the Phone-Free Schools Movement launched our partnership last year, our success has surpassed expectations. More and more schools have begun implementing phone-free school policies, and the results have been great for students and teachers alike.

The time is right to push for phone-free schools. That’s why I’m asking you to sign up today for our week of advocacy. We can give students the phone-free learning experience they need to thrive — but we have to advocate for it. Please add your name to our list, and encourage your friends and family to sign up, too.

We’re excited that this week of advocacy will also be supported by The Anxious Generation, the Becca Schmill Foundation, the Dais at Toronto Metropolitan University, Raising Awareness About Digital Dangers (RAADD), Phone Free New York and Smartphone Free Childhood US. We hope you will join our advocacy week too.

Sincerely,

David Monahan
Campaign Director, Fairplay
